Over the past couple of months Kaira Konko has been leading a project to install a new borehole in a rural community. This borehole is now operational, which means 30 families who previously had to walk long distances to fetch water, now have access to safe water from a tap in their village. Funds for this project were raised by Hampshire Scouts who set up an online appeal for donations during their expedition in August.
